Make your miles meaningful when you walk with Make-A-Wish® San Diego during the 2021 Thrive Wish Walk and $25 dollars of your registration will go directly to Make-A-Wish® San Diego to help grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses in San Diego and Imperial Counties. It takes $10,000 to grant ONE WISH for a child diagnosed with a critical illness. Together we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
The Thrive San Diego Wish Walk will follow the 5K route and will begin as the last group in the 5K. $25 dollars of each Wish Walk registration will go directly to Make-A-Wish® San Diego. Participants will receive a runner bib, t-shirt, and finisher medal. All Wish Walk registrants will also have the option to set up a personal fundraising page.
Want to walk for free?
Sign up using code “WISH” to register for free — all free entries will NOT receive a t-shirt or medal UNLESS you fundraise a minimum of $40 through your personal fundraising page.
*the Wish Walk will not be timed, and participants are not eligible for 5K age group awards

Make-A-Wish San Diego Fundraiser
Use your run to raise funds for Make-A-Wish® San Diego! We will set up your own private fundraising page where you can invite friends and family to support the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Fundraising Benefits Include:
$100: Receive a special star charm to add to your finisher medal to represent 1% of a wish. Also includes access to the charity post-race breakfast* and special Make-A-Wish bib that shows your support.
$1,000: Receive a special Make-A-Wish jacket, along with a star charm for each $100 raised. Also includes access to the charity post-race breakfast* and Make-A-Wish race bib.
$2,500: In addition to the Make-A-Wish jacket, star charm, breakfast, and race bib, receive complimentary two-night lodging accommodations near Mission Bay over race weekend!
