COMMUNITY NOTICE
The 9th annual Kaiser Permanente Half Marathon and 5K Benefiting Make-A-Wish San Diego will be happening on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Ski Beach in Mission Bay. Over 2500 runners are expected to attend.
The half marathon and 5K will start and finish at Ski Beach and use portions of Ingraham, Crown Point Drive, Riviera, Pacific Beach Dr, and the Bayside bike path. While there may be some traffic delays, the course has been designed so residents and businesses along the route will have access during the event.
Important Times:
- First Road Closures 5:30AM
- Half Marathon Start Time: 7:15AM
- 5K Start Time: 7:30AM
- Last Finisher: 11:30AM

Impact by Area
Crown Point Villas – Access will remain open to the Crown Point Villas for entrance and exit. Expect minor delays. Police and traffic control will assist with impacted intersection. Primary impact is between 6:00am-8:30am.
Campland by the Bay – Access will remain open to Campland by the Bay for entrance and exit. Expect minor delays. Police and traffic control will assist with impacted intersection. Primary impact is between 6:00am-9:15am.
San Diego Mission Bay Resort – There will be no access issues, but expect heavier than usual traffic on the Bayshore bike path West of the property.
W Mission Bay Dr. and Dana Landing Shops – Access will be from NB Ingraham St to the W Mission Bay Dr. ramp. The easiest access is utilizing I-8 West. If traveling south bound on Ingraham St or west bound on Sea World Dr follow detour signs to get you to the W Mission Bay Drive ramp on north bound Ingraham St.
