What is age-graded scoring?

Age-Graded scoring uses tables of “age factors” and “age standards” to allow all individuals within a race to be “scored” against each other regardless of age on a level playing field. This means that a 65 year old athlete and a 40 year old both have an equal opportunity of winning or placing. The masters prize purse will be awarded by adjusting finish times using the age-graded tables of World Masters Athletics.

Awards

Awards are presented to the Top 3 finishers overall in both the Half Marathon and 5K. Age Division Awards will be given to the Top 3 finishers in both the Half Marathon and 5K according to each age group.

Age groups are as follows:

14 and Under

50-54

15-19

55-59

20-24

60-64

25-29

65-69

30-34

70-74

35-39

75-7

40-44

80-84

45-49

Overall winners will be excluded from age group awards.
